You may have tried a virtual guided tour in a museum or scanned a landmark get information. This is possible with an AR concept called Anchors that allows several people in the same location to see the same virtual content. It’s similar to Geospatial, but Anchors are specified points of interest in an indoor or outdoor space. Environment data is initially collected and Anchors are the points on which virtual content is placed. Cloud solutions, such as Microsoft Azure Spatial Anchors can store and retrieve anchors through a number of platform SDKs, including Unity.
